How should I begin to explain

the things that I know to be true

In my mind....it is there

In the air we breath.....it is there

It's in the water, the trees, the birds, the sky,

even in the stars

It envelops us to the point

we cannot realize that it is there

But for me,

it is a knowledge

that burns in my eyes

an awareness so few understand

you are not alone
